Who We Are at Mountaineer Dart Association

Our misson is to bring the sport of darts to the Morgantown area! This league is a competitive steel tip dart league welcoming to beginners! Our main focus is having fun, getting out of the house, and learning the game of darts! 

 The Redbeard Cup is awarded to the Morgantown City Dart League champion team each season. The Redbeard Cup was initiated in 1984 at Redbeard's in Sunnyside, and, for the over 25 years of the Morgantown City Dart League, has represented the highest achievement in team darts in the area. In it's early years, the trophy consisted of the upper cup and base seen in the picture. The continued popularity of team league play required the addition of the bottom base, which will ensure that the trophy can be awarded for at least another ten years. Each winning team has had their team name(and, since the fall of 1991, the player names) engraved on the trophy.
